New Born Mother
Karan Wahi’s Cryptograph, titled New Born Mother, is an abstract painting made in honor of his mother. He uses a wide range of vibrant colours and swirling effects in his piece that are meant to symbolise the deep emotions and themes relating to the unique connection that exists between mothers and their newborns. Karan has stated that to him his mother ‘represents life itself and to depict that in an art piece has been very special for me. I made this piece at a turning point in my life and hence it forever holds a piece of my heart’. His Cryptograph is supporting the Ek Saath-The Earth Foundation an NGO in India which carries out vital charity work all across the country.
Karan Wahi is an Indian actor, model and television host. He also used to be a professional cricket player playing for the Delhi under-19 Cricket team alongside Virat Kohli and others until he had to retire from the sport due to injury. He started his TV career in 2004 starring in the hit Indian TV show Remix. Since then he has starred in over 50 different Bollywood TV productions and films including the hit movies Babbu Ki Jawani and Daawat-e-Ishq.
