A Manhattan
Tom has drawn a depiction of the famous Manhattan Cocktail and its associated recipe for his Cryptograph. Tom currently works in Manhattan playing the leading role in the Fox show Prodigal Son and this cocktail is also his favourite, which is why he wanted to share it with the world. It is believed that The Manhattan Cocktail was the most famous cocktail in the world shortly after it was invented in New York City’s Manhattan Club, some time around 1880. It is made with whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters and is one of six basic drinks listed in David A. Embury’s famous 1948 classic The Fine Art Of Mixing Drinks.
